This was very interesting! I played Lucid9 a while ago, and I'm eagerly waiting for the studio to come out with the next part of it. I know you used some assets from Lucid9 itself for the flashback scenes, but did you draw Rui's "afterlife sprites" yourself? Or did you commission those?
Thanks for giving it a play. As for the underworld scenes, the sprites, backgrounds, music and writing were created by me. As you figured, the past scenes used assets directly from Lucid 9. I plan on updating this game in the next week or so and will add a completely new part to it as well as a credits page that comes up at the end explaining who made what and other information.
